“Kim, get up, you’re going to be late for school!”
Dmitri stood outside his younger sister’s bedroom door, shouting at the top of his voice.  His sister had never been late for school before and he didn’t want her to break her streak.
“Coming, Tree!” mumbled a sleepy voice from behind the door.  A loud yawn soon followed, causing Dmitri to push open his sister’s door in anger.  She was still in bed, her long sleek black hair covering most of her face and her thick duvet pulled up around her shoulders.
“What time did you go to bed at last night?” he questioned, gazing at his sister who had now rolled over onto her back and was looking straight back at him.
“10 PM, the same time I always do!” she murmured, rolling back over onto her side.
“Well it’s nearly 8 AM!” screeched Dmitri, walking over to Kim’s bed.  “Your bus is in half an hour!”
“Tree, it’s Saturday!” growled Kim, curling back up under her duvet.  “Leave me to sleep!”
Dmitri sighed as if to say sorry then walked out of his sister’s room, shutting the door behind him.

In the Banks household, however, things were quite different.
“I’m sorry we were ill yesterday girls,” said Carol, sipping her morning coffee.
“It’s OK mum!” said Helen.  “We got the bus to school!”
“Oh well, it’s the weekend now so you don’t have to worry about that sort of thing”.
The twins glanced at each other.  Somehow, time had fixed itself when they defeated Hanamizu.  Or maybe Mr Yamada had something to do with it.  The girls decided that they might call him later about it.
“Mum, is it ok if we borrow some money to go into town?” asked Melinda.
“Why are you wanting to go into town?” asked Lucas, who was stirring a bowl of porridge.
“We were planning on meeting one of our new friends today!”” replied Helen, grinning.
“Which one?” enquired Carol, somewhat sternly.  “You’re only 12 years old and I haven’t met all your new friends yet.”
“Sally,” said Melinda, cheerfully.
Carol smiled.  She’d met Sally the day the girls started at Morrissey Junior High.
“I guess I can spare £5 for bus fares,” she replied, leaving the room to find her purse.
Dmitri is a shit.  He's protective of his sister though because they only have each other.

Dimitri doesn't seem that bad.  Trust me, I've got relatives who could be screwed up characters in sitcoms.  I am not kidding.
